Kick Off the New Year with a Vibrant Sparkle with Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2026

Singapore is set to kick off 2026 with a stunning fireworks display at Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2026. Presented by the Urban Development Authority (URA) and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), this celebration marks the end of a vibrant year, encompassing a month-long series of activities at Marina Bay, and serves as a fitting conclusion to this year's SG60 celebrations.

The dazzling fireworks display, titled ELYSIUM, illuminates Marina Bay's iconic skyline, unfolding over four acts accompanied by selected music. The 30-minute show features rainbow-colored fireworks, symbolizing Singapore's vibrant identity.

In the weeks leading up to New Year 2026, visitors to Marina Bay will be treated to a series of spectacular light projection displays, including Brightening Lives, an exhibition of works by artists with disabilities from ART: DIS, projected onto the historic facade of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore. Sharing Joy, Celebrating with our Communities also showcased works by ASEAN artists from the UOB Painting of the Year (POY) competition at UOB Plaza 1.

Themed "Thriving Beyond Limits," the artwork featured in Brightening Lives, in collaboration with local philanthropic organization The Majurity Trust, explored the ideas of unity, perseverance, and innovation with a shared purpose. Sharing Joy, Celebrating with our Communities, meanwhile, featured a series of artworks that encouraged audiences to look to the future with optimism.

Both performances also featured a final countdown to midnight as Singapore welcomed the new year. Visitors could also enjoy a variety of festive experiences across the Bay.

Up-and-coming artists like Hey Pelican!, Amni Musfiral, and Heema Izzati took the stage at Esplanade-Theatres on the Bay as part of Come Together @Esplanade to entertain music lovers. Togetherland by World Christmas Market welcomes visitors to the Bayfront Event Space with a festive mix of delicious food, family-friendly attractions, and curated shopping experiences.
